# 🦁 Graphlings · Club Fight

**Who would win — a rattlesnake or a mongoose? Two crocs or a lion? Three honey
badgers or a gorilla?** Club Fight is a fun, family-friendly "who would win?"
animal-battle game: pick your critters and how many of each, place your bet, and
watch the matchup play out across wild biomes with real home-turf advantages.

It's part of **[Graphlings](https://graphlings.net)** — a colourful world of
kid-friendly creatures — and this web build doubles as the playable prototype for
our upcoming **Godot** mobile + desktop games. We use it to lock in *what's fun*
(the roster, the odds, the spectacle, the game feel) on the web, fast, before
rebuilding it natively in Godot. It's a real little game you can play today, not a
throwaway: [**play it at fight.graphlings.net**](https://fight.graphlings.net).

Built with **Three.js + TypeScript + Vite**. Combatants are bright greybox shapes
for now — the gameplay, sim, world, and feel are the point; polished art comes with
the Godot build.

## What you can do

- **Pick a matchup** from a roster of real animals across land, air & water — and
choose **how many** of each (1–5 a side) for proper N-vs-M brawls.
- See the **tale-of-the-tape** odds, then **predict** a winner and watch it resolve.
- **Home-turf advantage** changes everything: snakes wilt in the snow but thrive in
the warm desert; a great white rules the lagoon but flounders beached on land. The
biome tilts both the odds *and* the fight (the footer calls it out, e.g. "🌵 FAVORS RATTLESNAKE").
- **Seed-derived worlds:** every fight rolls a biome (hillside, colosseum, volcano,
savanna, tundra, canyon, a tropical **lagoon** you fight *in*, and more) × time of
day × weather — with biome-native cheering crowds, wandering background wildlife,
a softened jagged horizon, and little touches like a flower lei on lagoon fighters.
- **Gentle / Wild / Chaos** dial — Chaos throws in over-the-top spectacles (lasers,
meteors, geysers, tornadoes, UFOs, disco mode…).
- **Share a fight** — the whole battle is encoded in the URL, so a link replays the
exact same matchup for a friend.
- **Real AI-generated audio** — creature vocals, impacts, crowd roars, and biome-aware
music beds, with a procedural fallback so there's always a fitting score.
